We Are Here To Preserve Your Story In Data
When survivors reach out to ANOAQA helpline, we provide a compassionate and attentive ear to their concerns. Our approach involves carefully documenting the issues they face, conducting a thorough analysis of their situation, and collaboratively exploring potential solutions tailored to their unique needs.
"Many of the case studies we encounter through the ANOAQA helpline involve survivors who have faced severe challenges, including suicidal thoughts, extreme frustration, and hopelessness. While these stories are important, we also want to emphasize that there are many uplifting and positive narratives within the asexual community. If you are asexual and have recently discovered your orientation, know that there is hope.
There are countless ways to lead a fulfilling and joyful life, embracing your identity on your own terms. We encourage you to explore and share these positive stories as well. "

A New Definition of Companionship
As the first generation leading the asexual movement, our focus has been on redefining the narrative around asexuality, challenging both social misconceptions and systemic biases.
Our mission is to dispel the myth that asexuality requires medical intervention—an assumption that pathologizes and invalidates our existence.
The subject explores the intersection of queer theory and oral history to amplify asexual voices, challenge pathologizing narratives, and expand representation in identity discourse. By sharing lived experiences, it validates asexuality as an integral and complex facet of human diversity.
